Preacher
Voice of the Congregation
Preachers channel a Celestial affinity through conviction rather than raw power. Their Sacred Text begins bearing the Holy Symbol tag and a gift for Restoration, growing in rarity — and in what it can hold — with every Nemesis they overcome. Their Congregation, bonded as a living NPC ally, keeps watch during downtime and can mentor a Preacher’s growth in Restoration, Bastion, and Divination.
A consecrated Holy Symbol lets a Preacher store the energy of a Boon as a Faith Charge, then unleash it later as a Celestial Evocation — enough to banish what shouldn’t be here, or to turn holy water into a weapon against the Infernal and the Undead. It’s a class built around patience and reserve: a Preacher who spends every charge the moment they get it never has one left when it matters most.
